#3 . She speaks to my soul

  • Hollis Duty
    Posted at 09:16h, 12 October

I like the fact that Narrator #1 varies the voices more to give distinct personalities to the different characters. However, the timber of her voice is not one I would want to listen to for long periods of time. Narrator #2 is too hard sounding. I don’t think she gives the right tone to the characters.

Narrator #3 is the happy medium and I would choose her for your audiobook.

    Narrator 3

  • Annette Gallagher
    Posted at 10:00h, 12 October

They’re all good but 3 is my favorite. Lower pitch is easier to listen to for long periods of time. The first one has a delightful cheeriness, but I think she’d get on my nerves if I listened more than a few minutes.

  • Ann Seymour
    Posted at 10:00h, 12 October

Definitely narrator number 3. Number 2 is the second choice

  • Nadia Wira
    Posted at 11:02h, 12 October

My favorite is #3. Her voice is pleasant in tone. She has fabulous inflections in her voice, and was able to convey the meaning of the written word as I believe I would have read it. and Lexi would have said it.

    Second would be #2

  • Terri Tribble
    Posted at 11:05h, 12 October

I liked #3 the best. Number 1 had an annoying voice to me. Number 2 was too slow and heavy sounding. #3 sounded like what I would imagine for the character.

  • Amber

I like #2. The inflections are spot on

  • Mitzi Salazar
    Posted at 11:13h, 12 October

  • Louise Bird
    Posted at 11:37h, 12 October

My top choice is narrator three, she keeps the listener enticed.

    Narrator one was good.

    Narrator 2 was boring.

  • Carly
    Posted at 11:37h, 12 October

Number 3. The characters sound more realistic.

  • Michelle Watts

    #3 for sure!

  • Tina M Winton
    Posted at 11:52h, 12 October

Definitely 3. She’s more believable. Her voice gives more life to the story. She’s not just a reader, she is conveying the story with her voice. She’s easy to listen to, the 2 others make me anxious (1) or sleepy (2). I can keep listening to reader 3.

  • Heather Kassin
    Posted at 11:54h, 12 October

I preferred #3.. The first two sounded too robotic to me.

  • Christy Dixon
    Posted at 11:57h, 12 October

  • Michele Plett
    Posted at 11:58h, 12 October

    Narrator 3

Narrator 3, although I liked 2 as well. Three just sounded the most Rochelle to me.

  • Fabiana Hernandez

  • Cara
    Posted at 12:19h, 12 October

Narrator #3 had the most pleasant voice recording, However, she has a touch too much angst in her voice…which I’m sure is fixable. Good Luck! 🙂

  • Colette Gagnon
    Posted at 12:44h, 12 October

I absolutely love the voice of narrator number 3. I could listen to her all day. I couldn’t listen to number 1. The voice was way too high. When I listened to number 2 it was better. But then I got to number 3, and that sealed the deal for me.

  • louisa
    Posted at 13:03h, 12 October

#2 is the easiest to understand. I love the timbre of #3 but after listening to both, i definitely understand #2 better – #3s voice is wondrous & i’d love to listen to her tell stories i already know, but she runs words together or something, i couldn’t quite figure out what was happening really, that made it impossible for me to understand about a 1/4th of what was said.

#3 sound more the way I imagined Rochelle in my mind. #2 isn’t bad. Definitely NOT #1.

I listen to a lot of audiobooks, number 2 is my first choice. Number 3 is my second.

Number 3, definitely. Her voice has a more mellow quality, while the other two seemed way too, I don’t know, chipper? High pitched? Over-enthusiastic? Whatever it was, 3 blew them out of the water.

    Number 3 is the voice.

Believe Voice #2 is the right narrator : she spoke as if she were TELLING the story – not just reading it.
The tone of #1 had Me click away within the first two sentences.

Narrator 3– her voice just seems to fit more so how I picture Rachelle’s voice sounding in the book.

Number 3, it’s the most real for Rachelle.
I didn’t enjoy number 1 at all, it made me jump at how high pitched it was.
